Skills for Success - cooking course

Autism Bedfordshire have an exciting three day course for 16-19 year olds to join in February half term as part of Skills for Success. The sessions will be made up of a collaborative learning activity in the morning themed around nutrition, a balanced diet, food hygiene and kitchen safety, followed by a cooking activity in the afternoon - the young people will have the opportunity to plan and cook a dish and will come home each day with the food they have made.

Autism Bedfordshire can arrange a virtual meet up prior to the course if it will help ease anxiety on the day, and can also provide social stories and photos of the venue.

Dates: Monday 13th, Wednesday 15th, Friday 17th February 2023

Time: 10am - 3pm (early finish at 2.30pm on Wednesday 15th)

Location: Leighton Buzzard Youth Club, Vandyke Road, Leighton Buzzard LU7 3FU

Cost: £60 per person (this includes all ingredients and resources)
