Leighton-Linslade Helpers

Leighton-Linslade Helpers are a voluntary group of local residents and agencies committed to helping you stay safe during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

Born out of an emergency to help our community, but now a permanent fixture one year later, there are many things they can help you with. Food parcels from their dedicated foodbank warehouse, personal shopping, click & collect, prescription collections, listening telephone service for the lonely and the isolated, morale-boosting activities, free cycling, welfare checks, and 24 hour emergency response to BLEVEC (Bedfordshire & Luton Emergency Volunteer Executive Committee). They can also signpost you to other groups and agencies that they work alongside to help you with a variety of situations.

Leighton-Linslade Helpers is here to help everyone who may be struggling or worried at this time, or have a feel good project that you would like their assistance with. Their website is regularly updated with new services.

There is also no need to go through another agencies as there is a self-referral form which you can complete for yourself, a family member, a friend or a neighbour in need.

Get in touch my emailing help@leightonlinsladehelpers.org.uk or call on 07517 851 382 to speak to the team of duty officers any time.
