FREE half term workshops from Spectrum and KeyBeats

'Down in the Jungle' is a series of one-off sensory story sessions, for 4–13 year olds with complex/profound needs, brought to you by Spectrum Community Arts in collaboration with KeyBeats.

They will create an immersive experience with fabrics, lights and music/soundscapes that create an atmosphere to immerse participants in the deep jungle of the story. The sensory workshop will include music, movement, acting and the ‘jungle explorers’ will be invited to touch, taste, smell, look, listen and discover the jungle and the characters who live there.

There will be four workshops running over the course of one day: two will be one hour long aimed at those with MLD and SLD; two will be one and a half hours aimed at those with PMLD.

To ensure the jungle explorers have a truly valid and interactive experience these workshops will be limited to only six participants with nine members of staff. Parent/carers are asked to remain on site and can either make use of the 'chill out' space provided for coffee, tea and biscuits or to stay and play with the group if you prefer!
