What a night! LB Mencap's 50th Anniversary Barn Dance

On Saturday 12 October, a fitting and fun-filled celebration was held as Leighton Buzzard Mencap invited its members to celebrate with family, friends and town folk at a Barn Dance, with music from the Ouzel Valley Ranters.

The two founding families of LB Mencap, the Watson's and Roberts', were present to join in the occasion and reminisce about how attitudes have gradually changed over the decades and how the organisation has grown to give support and opportunities to many local people with additional needs and their families.

Great music, dancing, food and laughter, all at the same time as raising an incredible £939!
