Aged 16 or over - why not come and join our Friends Within group

DID YOU KNOW that our adult group, Friends Within, is now accepting young people aged 16 or over. Perhaps you or a 16 year old you care for would be interested in gaining new skills. Maybe the idea of meeting new people and being part of a close-knit community is appealing to you. At Friends Within, the varied programme of activities is created entirely from our members' own ideas, and sessions are always supervised by our amazing group of dedicated volunteers who ensure everyone has a great experience without interfering with each individual's independence. Some of our current younger members have come up from our High 5s after school group or Holiday Club, so if you'd like to know more about how you can continue to benefit from what LB Mencap has to offer, do get in touch to find out more.
